The training was virtual and thus I was expecting a 'room' full of people. However it was just the instructor (Sonu Verma) and I. This made it much easier to tailor the instruction to my background and learning style and to go faster through material that I was already comfortable with.
It’s a big jump. Associate exams test if you know the tools; the AZ-400 tests if you can design a strategy. It’s very scenario-based and asks you to think like a DevOps lead. It’s a challenge, but our labs are built to make sure you’re ready for it.
Microsoft wants to make sure every AZ-400 DevOps Engineer Expert has a solid foundation first. You can’t automate a system you don’t understand, so having that Associate-level knowledge is a must.
