The trainer did well covering a wide range of topics in 4 days, although I would have liked some more real-life representations of what was being shown.Perhaps VMs, or examples of how viruses work in a real-to-life environment.Aside from that, I thought the course was very informative and helped build a framework for an understanding of Security+. Below are the perquisites a candidate must follow:
- Three to four years of work experience in IT security
- Basic understanding of network and network security
- CompTIA Network+ or CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent knowledge.
The cost of CompTIA CySA+ certification is $381 USD.
CompTIA CySA+ certification expires three years after launch. It needs to be renewed using CompTIA Continuing Education Program units.
CySA+ certification is valid for three years and need to be renewed after that. This can be done with CompTIA’s Continuing Education (CE) program.
60 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are needed to renew the CompTIA CySA+ course credential. This can be done in three years duration. On gaining these CEUs, certificate holders must upload them to their CompTIA certification account. After this, the CompTIA CySA+ course certification will be automatically renewed.
