CISSP Eligibility and Prerequisites
To get a CISSP certification, the candidate must have a minimum of five years of experience in two or more of the eight domains of the CISSP CBK and a four-year degree.
If you do not have 5 years of experience in the IT security field, you can still get this certification. However, you will get the (ISC)2 associate title from the governing body after passing the examination.
